História Oral

Oral history is the practical and organized dimension of projects that explore nuances of memory. With mnemonic phenomena as a seed, the possibilities of probing the organization of utterances refer to the distinction between their utterances. Not only do the uses of the senses harmonize in different relationships, but, in the same way, the possibility of revision, by writing, breaks the force of spontaneity.

The oral history method establishes and orders work procedures (something similar to any method) - it requires the existence of a project.

Pure oral history recognizes the fullness of a documentary corpus consisting of interviews. In Oral History the interviews are central and indicative of the paths to be followed in the research of archives. The intersection of interviews with various documents presupposes the care and classification of the documentation.
